About the Historical Center 

The Laytonsville Historical Center was established in 1996 as a non-profit orgnanization to provide Resources, Education and Advocacy to promote Laytonsville' s historic heritage.

Goals

  • Preserve and promote the history of Laytonsville and the 1st Election District
  • Keep the Center open to all including the community and student of Laytonsville Elementary School
  • To expand the Center's collection of family histories, photographs and memorabilia

Hours

The Historical Center is located within the Laytonsville Town Hall at 21607 Laytonsville Road.  It is generally open on Tuesdays between 11 am and 1 pm.  This schedule is flexible so you may want to call 301-869-0042 to make an appointment.
